Where Can I Learn Or Take Course To Learn Spanish Guitar&Many Others?

This week’s question is a good one. Let’s have a look:

Question: It’s been a while since i started to learn guitar…

Now,I wish To Learn&Become Good at Spanish Guitar Techniques and Styles Like:
–Flamenco
–Hitting The Wood

Basically,I Wish To Master&Become Like Rodrigo(Rodrigo’Gabriela)
So,I want learn and become expert at that

Since,I believe that slow and emotion based music is more alike to me
I wish To Learn Songs Like,Here Without You(3 Doors Down),I’m Yours(John Myraz)&
Nothing Else Matter’s

Since I want to learn and expertise within the correspondence of discipline for those staff i’m within to pay the cost

So,Which Sites Should I use,pay to or books and dvd’ i should buy
I DEFINITELY WANT TO LEARN AND PLAY SONGS LIKE ROMANCE
The Place Where I live Has No Spanish Guitar Teacher…Also I Play Pretty Good…Chords,Tabs,Theory and All…Also I write My Own Music Too…
I work 5 Hours A Day So Now I am good With Barre’s and all…
Also What I meant was Internet Site’s To Learn With(Like jamplay and guitar tricks)

Answer: If you are willing to pay the cost, I suggest you find a good classical guitar instructor and take lessons until you reach at least the advanced level. In addition to learning the correct way to play classical guitar, you will also learn to read music and about theory. You will then be able to play anything you want, right off the sheet music. If you have a steel string guitar, you might want to practice jazz scales and chords on your own, to help you learn to improvise, comp and compose. You will find many free lessons for that on this site: http://www.jazzguitar.be/ and can find many others by using your favorite search engine, but if you want to be great at classical, I suggest studying under a good teacher for at least a year or two.

    If you REALLY want to learn how to play Spanish Guitar the ONLY PLACE to do it is in SPAIN. Every year I do JazzFest in New Orleans and then go back to my condo in Valencia and spend the next 2 months working with a friend who runs a Flamenco Dance Company and school.. I play flamenco on the piano because I’m an old piano player at heart but I also play FLAMENCO guitar for their rehearsals and I play for their spring concert.

    If you REALLY want to learn ANY genre of music, then you MUST go where it’s played. This is why I play at JazzFest.. to keep my JAZZ PIANO wits sharp. and the reason I go back to Spain.. to keep my Spanish guitar wits sharp.. IT’S THE ONLY WAY.

    This past may I picked up a custom built Manual Reyes Spanish Guitar that I ordered a year ago and it cost more than a new car.. It makes my TAYLOR CLASSICAL sound like a FIRST ACT.. an absolutely unbelievable guitar.. for just $30,000
